RAMBAN, May 22: Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 118 cattle and seizing 8 vehicles.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Batote, Police Station Chanderkote, Police Station Ramban and Police Post Jawahar Tunnel intercepted 8 Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police teams rescued 118 bovine animals and seized all the 8 vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Batote, Chanderkote, Ramban and Banihal and investigation started.
