Sir,
The largest democracy of the world, with the second largest population in the world, and lengthiest written constitution, India is really a hard nation to handle. Having a history of its own India has seen lot of changes, the major one being the cultural change. This was the result of different invaders invading our mother land and establishing empire of their own. Starting from Kuru Dynasty in 1200 BCE, to British colony in 1947, more than 50 dynasties have ruled India, and the Indian Culture. Having 79.8 percent of Hindus, 14.2 percent Muslims, and 6 percent Sikhs, Christians, and other, we believe in a phrase which is ‘Unity in Diversity’, and it is very much visible in our Indian constitution where all fundamental rights are given to every individual, and Articles 25-28 categorically talk about religious equality. We have always moved forward together and an Indian is appreciated at various platforms for maintaining its cultural diversity, but now for the political gains, culture and religion is exploited. people are divided on the name of caste, creed, and religion, and it has become a challenge for the people of the country to protect our culture. Religion doesn’t teach us to hate, but to love, but now for political sake, hate is taking over love and people have started fighting over the name of religion so. The threat now is not external but internal, and if not controlled, it’ll ruin many innocent lives on the name of culture and politics . So this becomes our duty to use our own understanding and stand together against all those forces which are trying to break our unity and bring back the communal harmony which we have always maintained and give message to world that India in one.
