JAMMU, Mar 30: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha today released an amount of Rs 178200 towards widow pension and scholarship to 198 beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion the Sabha President, Romesh Chander Gupta stressed upon the need to uplift the weaker section of the society. He urged all the people of the community to come forward and help needy section of the society.
Sanjay Mahajan, Secretary of the Sabha, informed that 28 new beneficiaries were identified and given the pension.
Others, present on this occasion included Shiv Partap Gupta, Om Parkash Mahajan, Harinder Gupta, Dr Mohan Lal, Surinder Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta, Atul Gupta and Prabu Dayal Gupta.
