UDHAMPUR, May 28: A comprehensive district-level meeting was held here today regarding the upcoming nationwide campaign ’12 Years of Development, Trust & Public Welfare’ to be observed from June 5 to June 21 under the leadership of PM Modi.
The meeting was chaired by BJP State vice president, Rakesh Mahajan, who discussed in details the roadmap and execution plan for the upcoming fortnight-long public outreach campaign.
The meeting was attended by MLA Chenani, Balwant Singh Mankotia, District president, Arun Gupta, District Co-Incharge, Narendra Singh Tripathi, Jammu Parliamentary Constituency Organization Minister, Vipin, district general secretaries, DDC members, BDC Chairpersons, Mandal presidents, Mandal general secretaries, Morcha presidents, Cell conveners and a large number of BJP workers from across the district.
Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Mahajan emphasized that every Morcha, Mandal and organizational unit has been assigned specific responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of all programmes at the grassroots level.
He further informed that special focus would be laid on organizing exhibitions and public outreach activities at suitable public locations, while cleanliness drives would be carried out at places requiring immediate civic attention.
“MPs would spend one full day in each Assembly constituency during the campaign period, while MLAs would remain actively present at the Mandal level to participate in various programmes and strengthen public engagement,” he maintained.
Balwant Singh Mankotia remarked that many works which remained incomplete during the past seventy years have now been fulfilled under the Modi government through various public welfare schemes and development initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve by all party leaders and workers to ensure the grand success of the campaign.
