JAMMU, Oct 13: Imam Din Director Horticulture Planning & Marketing today kick started the work of macadamization in Fruit and Vegetable Market Narwal Jammu.
This was a long pending demand of Mandi functionaries of Fruit & Vegetable Mandi Narwal as the macadamization/black topping was not done since decade and the vehicular movement within the premises was very difficult due to pot holes etc.
The demand was delivered by the department due to untiring efforts of Director Horticulture Planning & Marketing and his concerned officers/officials. The Director directed the contractor to work for early completion of macadamization of Mandi premises in view of fruit season along with 100 per cent quality/damage assurance of the work to be executed.
Digvijay Gupta, Joint Director Nahid Mir, Dy. Director S. Surinder Singh President Vegetable Association and other members/Mandi functionaries were present on the occasion. The President Vegetable Association and the members of Association along with Mandi functionaries applauded the efforts and delivery of the department.
