JAMMU, Nov 12: Lt. Gen. D. S. Hooda, GOC, 16 Corps, called on Governor, N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan today.
During the meeting, the Corps Commander briefed the Governor about the overall security situation in the area of his responsibility. Certain other issues having a bearing on internal and external security management were also reviewed.
This was Lt. Gen. Hooda’s first meeting with the Governor after recently taking over as the Corps Commander of the 16 Corps.
The Governor wished Lt. Gen. Hooda a very successful tenure.
