NEW DELHI, Dec 4: The hike in LPG prices has hit paramilitary forces who have now knocked the doors of the Home Ministry for relief.
Union Minister of State for Home R P N Singh today told Lok Sabha in a written reply that the Defence Ministry has been requested to review ration allowances of these forces.
“The central armed police forces have requested Ministry of Home Affairs to either approach Ministry of Defence to revise the ration money allowance keeping in view the instant price hike on LPG or to approach the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to supply LPG on subsidised rates to the troops of CAPFs.
“Ministry of Defence has been requested to review and revise the rates of ration money allowance,” he said. (PTI)
