JAMMU, Sept 19: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has sought immediate implementation of 7th Pay Commission’s report in J&K.
Addressing a largely attended meeting of employees and pensioners at Sanji Morh (Hiranagar), Abdul Majid Khan, State president of the Federation, sought immediate implementation of 7th PC’s report in J&K on Central pattern as per past practice.
He said that the delay being caused in this regard is creating resentment among the State employees and pensioners throughout the State.
In the meeting, other demands like enhancement of Medical Allowance to Rs 1000, regularization of daily wage workers on completion of seven years of service including those engaged after 1994, revision of minimum daily wages to Rs 350, were also highlighted in the meeting, laying stress upon the Government to concede these demands forthwith.
