LPEF raises demands

JAMMU, Dec 1: All J&K Low Paid Government Employees Federation (LPEF) has demanded facilities to the employees and pensioners of J&K Union Territory at par with those at the Centre.
In a handout Federation leader, Abdul Majid Khan has demanded the release of 5 per cent arrear of Dearness Allowance due from the July 2019.
He also demanded grant of Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance and other allied benefits as are available to the Central Government employees.
Khan further demanded revision of Medical Allowance, restoration of Leave Travel Concession or implementation of Medical Reimbursement Scheme and benefits to the pensioners at par with those available to their counterparts at Centre.
