LPEF organises conference, highlights demands

BHADERWAH, Oct 29: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) organised one day conference under the chairmanship of Abdul Hafeez Fani, member, State Committee of the federation, in which employees and pensioners of the tehsil participated.
Abdul Majid Khan, State president of the LPEF criticized the State and Central Governments for their anti working class policies, due to which prices of the essential commodities are touching sky.
The speakers demanded payment of 6th Pay Commission arrears in two installments, revision of minimum daily wages, enhancement of medical allowances to Rs 1000 per month, regularization of daily wagers, early redressal of grievances of teachers, clerks, pensioners and Class IV employees appointed in various Government Departments.
Abdul Hafeez Fani urged employees and pensioners to remain united and continue their struggle till demands were redressed.
Among others present were Isher Dass Sangra, Babu Ram, Noor Hussain Malik, Syed Ahmed Shah, Abdul Majid Shah, Shakeel Ahmed Dev, Ghulam Hassan Pampori, etc.
