JAMMU, May 12: The installation of idols of Lord Ganesha on the two newly constructed gates leading to Sector 7, Trikuta Nagar, was held here today amid religious rituals.
The idols were donated by SK Seth and Chanchal Popli, residents of Sector 7, Trikuta Nagar. The process of installation started with Ganesh Pooja followed by religious rituals by Pandits.
President of the Temple, Devinder Seth alongwith other committee members duly acknowledged the faith bestowed by Temple Trustees for executing development works in the Temple and sought cooperation of devotees , who participated in the function.
The religious event culminated with mass bhandara.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Kuldeep Khajuria, Municipal Commissioner, Dr RL Handoo, Chander Parkash Gupta, Urmit Arora, Madam Shammi, Sonu Bharat, Prithvi Raj and Sanjeev Bhandari.
