KHOUR, Mar 6: People of village Bardoh in Khour Sub Division held a massive protest on Sunday against the illegal mining going on in the area.
People gathered at large number and restrained the various load carriers including tippers and Tractor trolleys. People gathered allege that they have complained to the various authorities regarding illegal mining going in their area in last four months but no one paid heed towards their complaint.
People appealed the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to take stern action against those involved in the illegal mining including those involve from the mining department.
Those who were the part of the protest included – Suresh Sharma District general secretary BJYM District Akhnoor, Panch Ravi Kumar, Panch Sanjeev Kumar, Panch Ashok Kumar, Anil Kumar, Tirath Ram, Sansar Chand, Yashpal, Puran Chand, Krishan Lal, Naresh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Gulshan Kumar and Ex Naib Sarpanch Des Raj along with dozen of people.
