SAMBA, Nov 15: The construction of subway on National Highway near the Railway flyover Nanke Chak area has not been completed for the last six years which has generated a lot of public resentment in the area.
The local residents including former Sarpanch, Ramesh Chandar, Panch Desh Raj said that despite dire need of subway, the National Highway Authority failed to complete it even after lapse of six years.
In absence of this subway, accidents take place every other day. Moreover, the office of district Samba administration is situated just 150 meters away from this point, which also never showed seriousness towards this much needed demand.
They urged the Lieutenant Governor to take note of this urgent need and demanded that Subway should be completed at the earliest so that people may feel relief.
