KATHUA, Nov 15: The management of Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir, Barnoti organized a Vishal Bhandara followed by Mata Ka Jagran.
Harbans Lal Sharma, the sole trustee of Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Barnoti told that the management has been organizing Bhandara and Jagran dedicated to Maa Vaishno Devi since last ten years in the month of November and this year’s event is tenth in the series.
OP Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner Kathua and Dr Bharat Bhushan, Managing Director, SC, ST OBC Development Corporation graced the occasion, offered prayers and declared the Vishaal Bhandara open.
Jai Bharat and Baldev Raj, Senior Lecturers, Former Sarpanches including Shiv Ram Sharma, Angrez Chand, Kamal Sharma and a number of Panchs participated in the celebrations as distinguished guests.
A large number of devotees from Barnoti, Trehara, Palli, Flote, Sumwan, Nihalpur, Budhi, Sounthal, Nanan, Mearth, Takht Pandrar, Dabwal, Forelain East (Ghatti) and Kathua participated in the Jagran and took Parshad in the Bhandara.
The atmosphere in the Mandir premises was charged with the devotion and the devotees offered special prayers on the occasion.
Later, Harbans Lal Sharma, the sole trustee honoured DDC Kathua OP Bhagat and Managing Director, SC, ST and OBC Development Corporation Dr Bharat Bhushan in the presence of a large number of former Sarpanchs, former Panchs and others.
In the end, Harbans Lal Sharma presented vote of thanks.
