BHADERWAH, Nov 15: A driver was killed, when the load carrier he was driving plunged into a gorge near Shukra in tehsil Gandoh.
The-ill fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-6125 was on its way to Gowari from Gandoh, when the driver failed to negotiate sharp curve and the vehicle rolled down into deep gorge near Shukra in tehsil Gandoh.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured load carrier driver to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Asgar Ali (30), son of Abdul Satar, a resident of Gowri.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gandoh police station and investigation started.
