DODA, May 30: Legal Metrology Department (LMD) conducted market inspections at Khara, Bhatiyas of Gandoh areas and imposed Rs 7,000 fine on erring traders.
The team of LMD under the supervision of Assistant Controller Legal Metrology along with Inspector Legal Metrology Bhaderwah visited various bazaars of Khara and Bhatiyas.
During the inspection the team challaned erring traders for violating provisions of J&K Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) (Amendment) Act./ Rules and were fined Rs 7000.
