JAMMU, Aug 2: A lineman was electrocuted today in RS Pura area of city outskirts.
“Jammi Kumar (32) son of Tara Chand, resident of Kotli Shah Dola (RS Pura), received severe electric current this morning from a power transformer at Banota,” a police official said.
He said that the injured lineman was immediately rushed to CHC RS Pura but doctors there referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
RS Pura police had taken cognizance of the matter.
