JAMMU, Oct 31: India’s one of the most prestigious and awaited cooking contest, LG Mallika-e-Kitchen is back with a bang this year, for its sixth season, to continue its objective of increasing awareness about microwave oven cooking in India. Mallika-e-Kitchen, the cooking contest organized by LG Electronics in its sixth successive year, provides women nationwide an opportunity to participate in and showcase their talent to the world.
This is a unique platform for women, especially in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to present their cooking skills and the winner to be crowned as Mallika of the contest.
The annual contest aims at promoting healthy living by informing homemakers of the importance of healthy cooking and eating. It’s an open platform for women aged 18 years and above, that has been receiving participation from more than 15,000 women in last 5 years from all across India.
This three stage cooking contest that will be organized nationwide over a period of three months will involve the exceptional culinary talents of India, and scrumptious, indulgent concoctions that will tickle the taste buds of all and sundry with salubrious dishes.
The Mallika-e-Kitchen Contest this year, aims to target 100 cities across India inviting participation from more than 5000 contestants. The Contest will be actively promoted through extensive radio, print and digital media activities.
Mallika-e-Kitchen Cooking Contest is an innovative concept that discovers the best cooking talents countrywide.
LG’s effort to bring out the Master Chefs in the participants and make the connoisseurs surrender to their cooking skills hopes to be a grander success than the previous years.
