JAMMU, May 16: LIC of India held its 58th All India Senior Divisional Managers’ Conference in Mumbai from May 14 to 16. The conference deliberated upon annual corporate strategies.
The conference was inaugurated with address by Chairman and Managing Directors of LIC of India. Zonal heads from eight different zones as well as all operational heads in the rank of Executive Directors from Corporate office participated in the conference. Divisional heads representing 113 divisions all across the country were also present during the deliberations for finalizing strategy on various aspects of marketing, customer servicing, information technology, HR, International Operations and new initiatives for the current financial year.
LIC has registered a market share of 75.67% in number of policies and 69.40% in first year premium income for the year 2017-18 and achieved the highest ever first year premium Income of Rs 1,34,551.68 crore.
The performance in settlement of total death claims has been the best ever with the least death claim outstanding ratio of 0.07%. The top achievers of last year were felicitated during the conference.
Corporate strategies for the objectives for the current financial year and planning of activities for execution of the same form the agenda for the conference.
