JAMMU, Jan 11: Life Insurance Agents’ Federation of India (LIAFI), Divisional Council celebrated Annual Convention (Mahasamelen), here.
Shyanal Chakraborty, All India Secretary General of the Federation was the chief guest on the occasion, while Keka Bhattacharya, Chairperson All India Women Employment Committee and Moti Singh, Vice President North Zone were the guests of honour.
Senior Divisional Manager Srinagar, TS Bali and Marketing Manger SD Negi were the other guests who graced the occasion, while the function was presided over by the Divisional Secretary of the Agents Assocaition, Achyut Sharma.
Founder Members of LIAFI (1964) and Agents from all over the state participated in the convention.
Earlier, the programme began with Saraswati Vandana, which was followed by welcome address delivered by DL Verma, Divisional Secretary, Srinaagr Division, while Achyut Sharma presented work done report.
While projecting the charter of demands, Secretary General LIAFI demanded the removal of GST on the Insurance Policies. He also highlighted the achievements of the Federation in mitigating the problems of the agents on various issues.
Mrs Bhattacharya stressed upon the women agents to gain knowledge and become more professional, while Moti Singh highlighted the achievements of LIAFI in North Zone.
Mr Bali and Mr Negi also presented their views during the convention.
The programme was conducted by BL Dubey and Satish Sharma, while Subhash Chander presented vote of thanks.
