JAMMU, Jan 11: MP Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma conducted open public darbar to interact with party activists and general public and addressed their concerns at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar near here, today. State general secretary of the Party, Pawan Khajuria also accompanied the MP during darbar.
While interacting with public during the open darbar, Jugal Kishore said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Central Government has initiated development programme in the nation keeping his promise of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. He also said that the State Government, where BJP is an alliance partner has also taken steps on war footing to address the mass issues that have been kept afloat by the previous successive inefficient State Governments. The present dispensation has broken the ice for the settlement of long pending issues in all the regions of the State, he added.
He said that the schemes of the Central Government are specifically targeted to every geographically difficult area of the State keeping in view the aspirations and the genuine requirements of the people and the regions, having mantra of “Antodya” in mind which targets the welfare of the last man standing in last row.
More than fifty deputations from all the areas across the regions visited BJP office to discuss and present their issues to the MP. Deputations highlighted the problems like installation and repair of handpumps, tubewell, water scarcity, wells, upgradation of lanes, laying of roads, bridges, electricity and others. Deputation of displaced persons presently in Samba also presented their views.
Deputation of NHM also approached the MP. MP sorted out many of their problems on the spot by telephonically interacting with the competent authority and forwarded the cases of others to concerned departments with written instructions for their quick disposal.
Whole programme was coordinated by State secretary & State incharge election related matters Rajinder Sharma. State secretary Sanjay Baru, State library incharge, Kulbhushan Mahotra, State social media incharge, Jaidev Rajwal and State press secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were also present on the occasion.
