LFO-BHF organizes National Youth Exchange programme

JAMMU, May 11: NGO ‘Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF) organized three day National Youth Exchange programme on ‘Role of Youth in Nation Building by Raising Voice Against Drug Menace’.
On this occasion National Youth Excellence Award-2023 function was also held under the leadership of Vivek Parihar, Director & CEO and Vishal Singh, Director & COO at PSPS Govt PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar which was powered by Talla Jewellers.
Participants from different States participated along with students of different educational institutions of Jammu.
On day 1st, Poster Making Competition and Symposium Competition was inaugurated by chief guest, former Minister R.S Chib.
Winners of Poster Making Competition were Meghana Goude (1st Position), Yeasmin Nahar (2nd Position) & Manisha Kumari (3rd Position) and winners of Symposium Competition were Arushi from MAM College (1st Position), Geetika from MAM College (2nd Position) and Shreya Kalla from PSPS PG College for Women (3rd Position).
This was followed by Cultural Evening inaugurated by chief guest Rajinder Sharma, Mayor of Jammu.
On day 2nd, Chandan Kohli, SSP Jammu inaugurated an awareness rally on ‘Role of Youth in Nation Building’.
This was followed by cultural evening inaugurated by chief guest, Kashish Gupta, CEO Talla Jewellers.
On last day of the programme, chief guest was Padma Bhushan Ghulam Nabi Azad, former CM and guest of honour was Padma Shri Mohan Singh.
The chief guest honoured 25 social workers-Mohit Sharma, Kajal Yadav, Gaurav Arya, Dr. Nitika Singh Gaur, Sachin Nandi, Saathi Foundation (From Jharkhand), Azar Sumaiya Riyaz Motiwale, Meghana Shantaram Bhalekar, Pradnya Kalpana Shahji Sawant, Shubham Shailesh Gupta (from Maharashtra), Hrishi Sardana (Delhi), Mohit Yadav (Rajasthan), Pramesh Vijaywar (Chhattisgarh), Patel Mayurkumar Hirabhai (Gujarat), Vijayanti (Chandigarh), Chandan Kumar Dubey (Bihar), Sanjaykumar Y Biradar (Karnataka), Davera Manoj Khanna (Telangana), Ankit Chourasiya (Madhya Pradesh), P. Venkata Chaitanya Narayana (Andhra Pradesh), Lovepreet Sharma (Punjab), Irfan Ahmed, Sahil Ali, Stuti Abrol and Afreen Barkat (from J&K) for tireless efforts for making this world a better place for every living being.

Abhishek Gupta was awarded as best male volunteer and Navya Verma as best female volunteer.
