KATHUA, Feb 13: In collaboration with free legal advocates, a programme on legal awareness, on the topic `Right to Information, was organized today in the Ramisht College of Education, Basohli.
In the programme, Aid Advocate Shubh Kumar and Advocate Navnish Mishra threw light on the Right to Information Act. They said that right to information is one of the most important right incorporated in the Indian constitution, through which one can get information from any public department.
They also explained the process involved in getting information through RTI Act and stressed that one can contribute a lot for the society through this right to information.
The chairmen of the college, Advocate R P Sharma also spoke on the occasion and presented vote of thanks. The programme was convened by Dr V P Sharma.
