NOWSHERA, May 7: The Police arrested a contractual lecturer of Degree College Nowshera on the charges of harassing a girl student of his class.
The action was taken against the Lecturer of Education after the girl student, who is married, reported the matter to her family members. She alleged that her teacher was passing obscene remarks and teasing her for the last several weeks. The police registered an FIR No. 75/2014 under Section 294 CrPC against the lecturer and arrested him today.
He has been identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Om Parkash, resident of Ramnagar in district Udhampur.
