JAMMU, Oct 13: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor today organized a lecture on sexual harassment.
Principal, Dr SP Sharma was the chief guest while Deputy SP, Akhnoor, Gurinder Pal Singh, was the resource person. While delivering his lecture, the resource person talked about sexual harassment of women in different sphere of life and the laws/sections to punish the culprit.
The event was organized under the convener ship of Prof Raj Kumar Gupta, Dean, Students Welfare. More than 120 students attended the lecture. The programme was compered by Harishita while vote of thanks was presented by Sunakshi.
The other persons who attended the lecture were Pushpinder Singh, SHO Akhnoor, Prof Tarsem Lal, Prof Rakesh Datt, Prof Rashmi and Prof Deepmala.
