Lecture series in management begins at MAM College

JAMMU, July 25: Department of Business Administration of Government  MAM College Jammu organized a one day induction cum orientation workshop for the students of BBA as a part of series of programmes to be organized during the current session for developing the students as a global managers and good citizens.
Dr Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu and also the alumni of the college, was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he shared with students different mantras to become highly professional managers in this most competitive business world.
In the first session, Prof V C Sharma, former Director of the Business School and former Dean Placement Officer, University of Jammu, was the recourse person. He emphasized on the major challenges that need to be addressed by the current generation students. He further mentioned that there is no shortcut to hard work and success needs more effort than luck alone.
In the second session, Dr. Pallavi Arora, Assistant Professor in International Centre for Cross Cultural and Human Recourse Management was the resource person. In her presentation she explained various concepts of management and future courses of action that student can opt after BBA.
Both the sessions were followed by Interactive session in which number of quires were made by the students and the same were answered in a very effectively and simple manner.
Dr Ajeet Angral, Principal   MAM College.  in his address to the students, encouraged them to become an employer rather than an employee for creating more employment opportunities and he also advised them to have an effective role in sharing social responsibilities.
Earlier the welcome address was given by Prof Meena Gupta, HoD of Management, MAM College. A brief about the programme was given by Prof Anwar-Ul-Haq and vote of thanks was given by Dr Ridhi Sharma. The compeering was done by Twinkle Bhat and Shriya Sharma, the students of BBA.
