JAMMU, July 25: As a part of GST awareness and the problems being faced by traders and industrialists, the officers of the Commercial Tax Department led by Annu Malhotra, Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes held interactive meeting with the members of Jammu Chamber here today.
On the request of president Chamber of Commerce & Industry Rakesh Gupta the series of interactive sessions are being held at Chamber House. The CT Department officers are ably replying to the queries raised by the traders.
Today, was the second day of the series of sessions. It is being held trade- wise and today major six trades included cloth merchants, jewellers, spare part dealers, electronics goods dealers, hardware, paint and sanitary dealers and besides Pharmaceutical distributors, who attended today’s session.
Most of their queries were replied to the satisfaction of all by the Commercial Tax Department officers. The office bearers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry namely, Rajesh Gupta, senior vice president, Rajeev Gupta, junior vice president, Manish Gupta- secretary general, Gaurav Gupta- secretary and Ashu Gupta, treasurer also attended these sessions.
