JAMMU, July 25: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) paid rich tributes to the visionary leader Indira Gandhi in a program “Maa Tujhey Salaam” under the leadership of Secretaries Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and In-charge JKPYC Dr Uma Shankar Pandey and Shishpal Singh Keharwala in the presence of Pranav Shagotra president, JKPYC, held here today. The programs were held at Bhala, Seri Bazar and Chinnote .
Addressing huge gatherings at Bhala and Seri Bazar both the In-charge emphasised upon the role of youth in nation building process and upliftment of weaker sections of the society. They reverberated the vision and contributions made by Iron Lady Indira Gandhi to strengthen and enlighten the youth of the country through resource mobilisation and pro-youth policies.
Showing deep anguish over making fake promises and anti-youth policies adopted by the present Central and State Governments both the leaders alleged that the respective Governments have mislead people especially the resourceful youth on the pretext of 2 crore jobs and new recruitment policy.
Speaking on the occasion Pranav Shagotra blamed BJP and its leadership for playing with the sentiments of the people and betrayal with youth of the State. The PYC leadership paid a visit to a local school where while distributing stationary under Maa Tujhey Salaam program they enlightened the youth and students about the life, history and vision of Late Indira Gandhi. Also huge number of youth having different political affiliations joined Youth Congress with great enthusiasm.
Those who graced the program with their presence included Rashid Malik, General Secretary JKPYC, Vijay Hitaishi Spokesperson JKPYC, Pankaj Sharma President LYC (Doda-Udhampur), Waseem Jalal Secretary LYC (Doda-Udhampur), Er Javed Lone President AYC Bhaderwah, Waseem Ganai Spokesperson AYC Bhaderwah, Mohsin Ganai General Secretary AYC Bhaderwah, Arjun Singh, Burhan Ganai, Sunny Zargar, Maviz, Sunil, Manjit and Sarfaraz.
