RAJOURI, Dec 16: A lecture on ‘Parenting’ was held today here in Army Good Will Public School on the initiative of Principal of the school, Kamal Zamani.
The event started with a skit by students of the school expressing their point of view regarding problems faced in growing up years with their parents.
The lecture was delivered by an Army officer, who has vast experience in this field and taken similar lectures and workshops on relationship between parents and children in many international schools.
The officer brought out reason of parents and children responses to various issues and how simple problems can have serious repercussions in future for both, if not handled properly. He gave a number of examples from his personal life and made a serious topic, simple and interesting, by adding a lot of humour and anecdotes from our daily lives.
In the end, students presented a song dedicated to their parents for their never ending love and concern.
