JAMMU, Dec 16: Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu defeated St. Xavier School today morning in the under-14 age category of the Indoor Cricket Tournament, being played at KC Sports Club, here today.
The match was played inside the spacious Cricket Hall of the Club as per the Indoor Cricket regulations prevalent in the world. Today the match was played in the air-conditioned indoor Cricket Hall with 9 pitches, 5 fast and 4 spin pitches with surface of 16000sq. ft.
Delhi Public School won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, DPS made 38 runs. Top scorer from DPS was Ayush and Aman who made 11 and 12 runs respectively.
While chasing the target, St. Xavier School team bundled out for 29 runs. Vishav and Vinayak made 7 and 8 runs respectively. From bowling side, Anmol and Shreyansh took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
At the end of the match players practice with the Bola Bowling Machine imported from England to improve their reflexes under the supervision of YSCE coaches.
