NEW DELHI, Sept 24: Lead futures prices today rose by 0.20 per cent to Rs 126.05 per kg as speculators enlarged positions mostly on the back of rising domestic spot demand from battery-makers.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in current month traded 25 paise, or 0.20 per cent, higher at Rs 126.05 per kg, with a turnover of 106 lots.
Marketmen said besides a firm trend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange, rising demand from battery-makers in the spot markets, supported the upside in lead futures prices here. (PTI)
