JAMMU, Aug 22: Lawrence Public School students of the Junior Wing scored 1st and 2nd position in the Inter School Poem Recitation competition held under the aegis of Youth Talent Search Forum at Alexander Memorial School, here.
Sumaira Dogra stood first in the Hindi Poem Recitation competition whereas Swastik Chopra stood second in English Poem Recitation competition.
Students from 10 different reputed Schools participated in this competition.
The competition was judged by Sunita Pandita from the Chief Education Office, who is an acclaimed artist.
Shakuntla Joshi, Founder Principal, Lawr-ence Public School presented certificates of merit to the students and lauded the efforts of Kiran Tickoo, Shivani Joshi, Vandana Gupta and Monika Sharma for preparing the students.
