SRINAGAR, Aug 17: Large number of people today afternoon joined the last rites of Muzaffar Ali Dar, Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir police who made supreme sacrifice along with two CRPF after they were attacked by militants in Baramulla today.
People, mostly youths, from Habak and adjacent areas thronged to the residence of SPO Dar at Tango Pattan and offered Namaz-e-Janazah this afternoon.

SPO Dar was laid to rest among several people who would always be grateful to him for his services to the motherland and his supreme sacrifice, people bid him adieu with moist eyes. Ladies too in large numbers visited his house to pay respects to the departed.
Meanwhile Chinar Corps paid tributes to the two jawans of CRPF and SPO Dar, who made the supreme sacrifice in the ghastly terrorist attack on CRPF Naka at Watargam, Baramulla.
The Corps expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved families, in a tweet. (UNI)
