Langeh for upgradation of GHS Lam upto HS level

JAMMU, July 14: State president, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Tulsi Dass Langeh has urged the higher ups of Education Department to upgrade Government High School (GHS), Lam upto Higher Secondary (HS) level to cater the need of the area.
Langeh was apprised of the issue by the inhabitants of Qila-Darhal, Thandi-Kesi, Lam, Kampla and their surrounding areas, during his two-day tour of Nowshera Assembly Constituency. He was accompanied by BSP coordinator for Nowshera Assembly Constituency, Haq Nawaj.
The people complained to BSP leader that there was only a High School at Lam and for getting higher education the students have to go to Government Higher Secondary School, Nowshera, which is quite far away. While the students of Thandi-Kesi have to travel about 90 kilometres to and fro by bus, the students of Lam, about 50 kilometres on daily basis, they added.
