Kathua Apr 14: Police team of Police Station Lakhanpur in a joint action with excise sleuth today seized 41.5 Kilograms of poppy straw and arrested one narco smuggler.
Police team of Police Station, Lakhanpur alongwith excise sleuth during checking duty at Toll Plaza Lakhanpur seized 41.5 kilograms of Poppy Straw in illegal possession of one person namely Mohd Saleem, S/o Ghulam Nabi R/o Village Battapura Mattan Anantnag Kashmir.
Police seized the narcotics , arrested the accused and registered a case FIR no 24/19 u/s 8/15 NDPS Act.
