LAHDC team meets BJP leaders

JAMMU, Sept 10: Led by Chief Executive Council (CEC), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, Dr Sonam Dawa, the Councillors today met BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul and State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria and briefed them about the functioning of the Council and other issues.
Dr Sonam Dawa apprised them about the funds required to undertake various developmental works and stressed that BJP should also take up the issue with the State Government. The BJP leaders were also apprised of the works having been completed by the Hill Council and progress made so far in matters of development, which are currently near completion.
Sat Sharma and other leaders assured LAHDC of party’s full support and cooperation in all the matters and said that BJP was committed to the development and progress of entire Ladakh region.
They asked the CEC and Councillors to be in regular touch with the people and ensure that their problems are attended on priority.
