Ladakh LG grants 40k for 4 patients

LEH, Apr 30: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, R K Mathur has approved a grant of financial assistance to the tune of Rs 40,000 from the LG Relief Fund to four patients outside Ladakh.
Rs 10000 each to the patients namely Tsewang Norboo, Norbu Tashi, Nawang Dolma and Lobzang Chotak, who are undergoing medical treatment in Delhi in various hospitals, has been approved by the LG.
The Lt. Governor has thanked the people of Ladakh and other donors for their support and contribution in the LG Relief Fund. He said that this fund will be used to provide financial assistance to the needy patients and financially distressed students stuck outside Ladakh during the lockdown. This fund is also being used to produce face masks in large quantities in both Kargil and Leh districts, added LG Mathur.
