SRINAGAR, July 24: A non-local labourer was washed away while taking bath at Nallah Doodh Ganga.
A police spokesman said that Mohammad Shavraj son of Muntazir and Mohammad Garar son of Mohammad Hafiz residents of Padali Gurjar, Haridwar in Uttar Pradesh, slipped while taking bath in the Nallah Doodh Ganga at Sanat Nagar, Srinagar. Both the persons were washed away. However, one of them Mohammad Garar was rescued while another Mohammad Shavraj got drowned. The body is yet to be fished out.
