SRINAGAR, July 24: A girl ended her life after taking some poisonous substance in Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said that a girl (name with-held) aged 16 years resident of Hemd Regpora, Kunzer in Baramulla, consumed some poisonous substance and breathed her last at her home. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a girl was electrocuted when a LT wire fell on her while she was taking bath in a canal in Kulgam.
A police spokesman said that 12 years old girl Insha daughter of Nazir Ahmad Dar resident of Turk Tashloo-Kulgam, while bathing in a canal near Dhobi Canal, Qaimoh, received electric shock, when an electric LT line fell upon her. She received injuries in the incident. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
