RAJOURI, Oct 6: A Labourer was knocked to death by a speeding truck, when he was crossing the road at Thannamandi, here today.
The deceased, identified as Kramak Khan, son of Khadim Hussain of Bafliaz, Surankot, was hit by truck JK02AD-7597, which was loaded with LPG cylinders. The victim reportedly died on the spot.
Even as the accused driver, identified as Saquib Ali of Kallan Morh, Thannamandi, fled the scene immediate after the accident, Police nabbed and arrested him. A case has been registered against the driver at Police station Thannamandi.
