UDHAMPUR, Mar 5: A middle aged labourer committed suicide by hanging himself at his rental house in village Chrani Ghari, Udhampur.
According to the Police report, Manoj Gai (50), son of Mangal Sen Gai, resident of Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh, presently putting up at village Chrani Ghari Udhanmpur, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police Station Rehambal. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
The deceased was a labourer and cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained while Police has registered the case for further investigation.
