JAMMU, Dec 19: A labourer from Madhya Pradesh today died mysteriously after he suddenly collapsed and fell down in Barnai area of city outskirts while walking on the road.
According to a police spokesperson, the labourer identified as Rattan Lal (35) son of Bhagi Rath, a resident of MP and at present living in Barnai area falling under the limits of police station Domana, fell down suddenly this afternoon while he was walking on the road in Barnai area.
He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired at about 7.15 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Domana and proceedings started under 174 Cr PC.
