JAMMU, Dec 23: Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Muzaffar Ahmad Wani today inspected the library of the Assembly Secretariat and took stock of the digitization work.
The Secretary inspected various sections of the library and directed the concerned officers to expedite process of digitization for its time bound completion.
He said that it is a historical library, having a huge treasure of rare books and journals, which needs to be preserved for future. He constituted a committee to oversee digitization of the records of library and its updating from time to time.
LA Additional Secretary, Manzoor Ahmed Baba; Under Secretary Prithvi Raj; IT Incharge and other senior officers and officials accompanied the Secretary during the visit.
