JAMMU, Oct 2: The Legislative Assembly has received total of 570 questions from the MLAs for eight days autumn session of the Assembly, beginning tomorrow.
“Out of 570 questions, 297 were starred and 273 un-starred,” official sources said.
While starred questions are debated during Question Hour in the Assembly, the members get only written replies for the un-starred questions.
In addition to questions, the legislative Assembly has received 14 private member’s bills and 52 private member’s Resolution.
A day each is reserved in the Assembly for private member’s bills and Resolutions. Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta has already rejected some of the Resolutions.
