RS PURA, Aug 5: Congress MLC, BR Kundal, visited village Kotli Shah Daula here today, took stock of the problems of the local populace and inaugurated a 100 KV power transformer in the village.
The MLC inaugurated the transformer in the presence of prominent villagers, Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area. For the installation of the transformer, the MLC provided fund from his Constituency Development Fund.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress MLC threw light on the development works carried out by him in the border areas of RS Pura. He expressed his commitment to work for the development of the villages.
On the occasion, Panchs Raja Singh, Vikram Singh and Satpal Singh apprised Kundal about the backwardness of the village in the field of development, but lamented that no Government representative till now has taken cognizance of the village. They urged the MLC to get blacktopped all the lanes of the village. They also requested him to restart all the suspended development works in the village.
The MLC assured the villagers that all their problems would be solved very soon. Sarpanchs Vinod Kumar, Kishore, Ravinder Singh besides former president, Ravi Dass Sabha, Janak Raj and Som Nath were also present.
