SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University Prof Talat Ahmad inaugurated 63rd General Orientation Course and a three week “Refresher Course in Computer Application” organized by Academic Staff College (ASC), KU for the university and college teachers here.
He stressed upon the college and university teachers to keep themselves abreast with the latest developments so as to respond to the ever increasing demands and queries of students who have become more inquisitive than ever before.
In his welcome address Director ASC, KU Prof Farooq Fayaz said that these courses and programs would prove beneficial for the overall development of faculty at various levels.
Coordinator of the Refresher Course in Computer Applications and Director IT&SS KU, Prof S M K Quadri also spoke on the occasion.
Assistant Dean DSW KU Showket Shafi presented vote of thanks.
