Rich tributes paid to freedom fighter Udham Singh

JAMMU, Dec 26: Freedom Fighters Association today paid rich tributes to Martyr Udham Singh on his birth anniversary.
The function in this connection was organized by Ved Gandotra president of the organization at Vikram Chowk near the statue of Gen Vikram Singh.
Paying homage to this great martyr Mr Gandotra said that this young freedom fighter had such a deep love for nation that he chased Gen. Dyer who was responsible for Jalianwala Bagh massacre in Punjab during the freedom movement in 1919 to UK and killed him there without caring for his life. For this daring deed he sacrificed his life and the entire nation is indebted to his bravery and valor, he added.
Others who paid tributes included Sukhwinder Singh Maini, R S Premi, Gajan Singh, G S Charak, Charanjit Singh, Harinder Singh, K K Rao, Deepak Sharma, Raj Kumar Tyagi, Amrik Singh, Davinder Singh, Mohammed Sharief etc.
