JAMMU, Aug 7: Kashmir Samiti Delhi (KSD) has expressed its total solidarity with the agitating relief holders and demanded that their demand be settled immediately.
In a statement issued here today the KSD chief Rakesh Kaul said that Government has betrayed the relief holders having no source of income except the meager cash dolls given to them. He said for the last 10 years the same were not increased despite the fact that the prices have touched the sky during this period.
Mr Kaul, while justifying the relief holders’ demand warned the KSD will physically join the agitation in case the Government fails to take a decision on enhancement of relief.
He also expressed grave concern over threat given to migrant employees in Valley by a militant outfit and demanded that Government should ensure their total security. He said in case of any migrant employee was harmed the Government will be held responsible for the same. He also demanded posting of female employees outside the Valley till total normalcy is restored in Kashmir.
