Kranti Dal deputation meets JMC Commissioner

JAMMU, July 31: A delegation of Kranti Dal, led by its State president, Pritam Sharma, today met Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Soujanya Sharma, and apprised him about the sanitation problems being faced by the general public of the Roop Nagar area.
In a memorandum submitted to Commissioner JMC, Pritam Sharma said, “There are a number of allotted and non allotted vacant plots lying at Municipality area,” adding among the allotted plots the construction has not been done till date.
He informed JMC Commissioner that labourers coming from outside the State residing in the plots for the look after and spread insanitation in the locality as there is no lavatories and toilets on such plots by the owners.
He requested JMC commissioner to issue an instruction to those plot owners who had kept such labourers for the look after to construct a lavatory/toilet in their plot, so that such labourers do not spread insanitation in the locality. He also demanded to remove the unauthorized Jhugis constructed by such labourers on un-allotted plots.
JMC Commissioner, Soujanya Sharma listened to the deputation patiently and assured them that he would take action on their issues on priority.
