JKTF delegation calls on Chairman BOSE

SRINAGAR, July 31: A delegation of J&K Teacher’s Forum, headed by EJAC president Ab Qayoom Wani, called on BOSE Chairman Zahoor Ahmad Chatt and discussed with him several issues and demands.
The delegation demanded abolition of series system in examination, open choice to the students of 10th and 12th class in particular and the other classes in general or curtailment in the syllabus, immediate notifying of examination schedule, 50 percent enhancement in remuneration of evaluators and examination duty staff, opening of more evaluation centers at district headquarters, making examination forms on line etc.
The delegation comprised of Gh Rasool Bhat, Mohammad Afzal Bhat, Mohd. Akbar Dar, Malik Javaid, Bashir Ahmad Thoker, Syed Murtaza and Malik Fayaz.
Meanwhile, Ab Qayoom Wani also condemned police lathicharge on protesting female teachers of KGBV, who were demanding their regularization.
